Eland Cables also supplies a range of unarmoured medium voltage cables manufactured to international standard IEC 60502 and known according to their cable construction including N2XSY, NA2XSY, N2XSEY, N2XS2Y and NA2XS2Y cables. Many of these cables are also available with additional waterblocking properties, designated by (F) and (FL) which may be required for certain power cable applications.

European Reference Armoured Cable

Under IEC 60502-2 we also have cable, both AWA/SWA armoured and Steel/Aluminium Tape armoured, that are named using the Portuguese convention, with both copper and aluminium variants sheathed in PVC or PE such as XHIOV (STA/PVC), XHIO1AE (ATA/PE), XHIRV (SWA/PVC) and XHI1RE (AWA/PE). They are available in voltages of 6kV through to 30kV as standard. These can also be referenced under the Spanish naming convention - and other national references - where required.
